What a gem of a bed and breakfast set in a lovely quiet location with stunning views across the water from the breakfast table.
The hosts are extremely welcoming and very good company.
The continental breakfast is very good and in plentiful supply. The homemade pancakes are particularly good.
No hesitation in providing a recommendation.
Do not book at this place unless you have a Plan B in place. My booking was cancelled almost 3 months after being confirmed by the host. As I was on a cruise at the time of notification of cancellation and did not have internet access (not the fault of the host, but my failure to respond should have been an indication that I had not received the email), I only learned of the cancellation late the night prior to the first night of the booking. The host admitted to taking overlapping bookings after ours and yet gave priority to the more recent bookings, the only explanation being "I made a mistake". I would not trust this woman with my business or recommend her as a reliable host to anyone else.
Carol is an absolute doll, so accommodating and kind. The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic!! The charming community is walkable and you just might see sheep and cattle grazing nearby.
A lovely little b&b. Very friendly hosts and a clean and tidy room. We stayed there with our two year old. Breakfast was plentiful and freshly made.
We had a lovely overnight stay at Fasgro. We were on our way to Harris via Skye but wished we had been able to spend more time here. Carol gave us (and our retired assistance dog) a very warm welcome. The room was very comfortable, with a strong shower and good wifi, and breakfast was excellent. The location is great, in a small, quiet, traditional crofting community with the shore 10 minutes walk away and beautiful views to Skye. Yet it was only 5 minutes by car from the Skye Bridge in one direction and Plockton, where there are a number of dinner options, in the other. Drumbuie and the next crofting village, Duirnish, are both fascinating and it's worth taking some time to walk around both. We felt privileged to be able to stay in this community. Thanks, Carol.
Stayed here for two nights on a road trip with my Father. It’s only a ten minute drive to the Skye bridge and a great place for exploring the Island. The bed is comfy. The rooms are nice. The breakfast is lovely and filling. The host Carol is very friendly and helpful.
Everything was perfect, the location is really good if you want to visit the isle of Skye, the room is cozy, the view from the room is great and the breakfast is amazing. Carol is such a nice person and she is really kind and friendly.
Definitely recommended!!!
Carol was a wonderful hostess! Giving of her time to us & others! Fun location, cows & sheep wandering as we drove! Best sleep I’ve had since traveling! Truly a GOOD place to stay, reserved or not! So very accommodating!
