Absolutely brilliant. Peaceful, remote, beautiful setting and wonderful hosts. Even better than that was the resident collie, Neli, probably the most beautiful ever, especially her ears. Would definitely love to visit again.
An absolutely amazingly, beautiful cottage in a wonderful rural setting. This charming 'Farmhouse' has the wow factor as soon as you walk through the door. Each lovely room you step into is amazing, and you can't believe you have it all at your disposal.
Then, when you walk outside and discover what is included, it's almost jaw dropping! Not only is there a fantastic country garden with rolling hills and sheep, but included is a small Summer house for the children-filled with games etc, and another Summer house with a bbq. Both have fairy lights that come on at night, that look great. Perfect to sit in with a bottle of wine. Talking of which, the lovely owners Jennie and Keith, left us a bottle of wine, crisps and a basket of goodies, which was so kind.
Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and they also don't encroach on your holiday either.
Plus, what makes the holiday easier are all the little extras that the owners add in the house, from soap to tea and coffee.
A perfect lovely holiday. Didn't want to leave! Can't wait to go back next year!

Amazing place! The building was built in 1762, the interior, as well as the outside area is fantastic! The place is very quiet and peaceful. 2 floor, living room with chimney (w hich is working), great and very well equipped kitchen, dining hall on the ground, and 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom on the 1st floor. Big garden with a glasshouse which has special atmosphere. There is a table in it with chairs, and you can grill there as well.

More than perfect! Everything and more was provided. The welcome was in the the walls of this much loved house. Jenny and Keith lovely. The cacophony of birdsong only interrupted by the silent starry night followed by the cwtch of the log fire. On a more practical note, one hour from Chester zoo and one hour from zip world, and easy to find
Great escape to country life in a gorgeous house! Beautiful grounds with 2 patio sitting areas. Warm and cozy inside with an easy-to-start wood burning stove and with big bathtubs for soaking in. Plenty of space for our family of six and all beds were very comfortable. Attentive hosts who keep the perfect balance of being available but giving us privacy. Was a dream home for me to enjoy with my family for a weekend.
Beautiful and cosy, fully equipped and perfect for kids- pretty garden with fairylights in a stone/glass garden room for adults and a gorgeous toy-stocked playhouse for the kids.
Beautiful accommodation. The pictures don't do it justice.
Hosts were amazing and very accommodating, made us feel very welcomed.
