Oh what a shame. We’ve always loved coming to this restaurant as they always serve such lovely food.
We were here just 3 months ago and were really pleased with our choices.
The steak was served to perfection and the salmon was succulent too.
On this occasion, however, we were disappointed.
To their credit the prawn purée starters were excellent but the steak came up lacking.
The waiter who took the order was attentive and understood my description of a blue steak and said he’d advise the cook.
Unfortunately when it arrived it was medium rare at best.
It may have been because it was a particularly thin steak. All the same it was overcooked.
I would probably also have to add that the salmon was considerably smaller than the last time we came even though there was a price increase.
They said they were sorry, but I fear we may not be returning ????
No one else ate at the restaurant. The waiter seemed to hate his job. We asked for clean plates and the waiter brought out new plates. They weren’t clean. We ordered a pizza that came from someplace else (was brought up in a pizza box) and a course of Indian food with rice. Even the rice was badly cooked. No toilet paper, soap or towels in the bathroom. Will not come back.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in this area.
The menu contains a huge choice of Indian cuisine, as well as pasta and pizza.
The set menu is really good value for money and you get loads!!!
The staff are lovely and the view from the top floor is fabulous!
