Went on two separate occasions, such a strange experience, the food is simply not good but dirt cheap, my chicken burger was actually not bad but the fries are almost toxic, portion sizes always vary depending on who's serving you, but £6 for a burger, chips and drink isn't bad for London. The chicken pieces however were really disappointing, you can tell it was out the freezer and fryer then sitting there all day awaiting my arrival to rather stupidly order, a weird pinky color blending with the white meat and skin that would fall off if you simply looked at it. Whilst eating my "chicken" I saw a fellow customer approach the counter and inform the worker his chicken was cold in the middle, without hesitation the worker replied "you have put sauce on it so I can't change it" Poor guy was out with his wifey. But then the time before the other guys were bantering with me and a few others, I can't further describe what an odd experience this is but the food is the point, and the food is bad.
Just your average chicken shop tbh, but the food is pretty cheap for London. The burgers and peri-peri chicken are about a fiver. I had 3 pieces of chicken for £4.50 and the guy serving gave me a free bottle of water. He didn't have to do that. Good guy.
I paid £6.95 as I always do for the cheeseburger meal, which consists of a gourmet patty in a brioche bun, chips and a drink. Today, however, I received a generic supplier's beef patty inside a brioche bun, so thought it must've been a mistake. From inspection of both burgers, turns out they're the same. I contacted Uber Eats and they issued my refund. I also called up Famous Chicken & Pizza (who operate as Gourmet Burgers & Pizza on Uber Eats) and explained to the man that they must've made a mistake by putting the wrong patty in. He in turn, told me, that had I ordered the "Mighty Burger" (cost of which is £5.95), I would've gotten a gourmet patty, but since I ordered the "Cheeseburger", that is "how the menu is setup". I refuted the man on the phone and explained to him that my partner and I had ordered more than half a dozen times since the beginning of the year, and this is the first time we've been given the wrong burger and also being lied to about it.
Never going to order from here, ever again.
Very bad service and not worth the price. I used the Uber eat to get a mighty beef burger. It was really slow and not tasty. Don’t go here!
Absolutely shocked at the dreadful quality of both the food and the customer service. Having ordered my food, an hour and a half later I had to call them up as they had failed to deliver the food, and they claimed they had delivered it. After telling me that no, it was not possible to deliver it again free of charge, I arranged to go and pick up the order. After a thoroughly unpleasant and somewhat unnecessary four mile cycle ride in the cold, I arrived and found that the shop 'Famous Chicken & Pizza' didn't actually exist, and that the shop front displayed a different name. This caused me several minutes of confusion and I had to phone them again to confirm that I was indeed stood outside the correct shop. They gave me my pizza and I went home to find that not only was it uncooked and poorly heated, but my veggie order had somehow ended up with chicken on it. Needless to say that, having removed some of the chicken, it wasn't very tasty either.
I ordered a pizza but it was not with expected toppings. I ate sime cheese then i left whole pizza. Really a baf experience. But there wings is average not bad
WARNING!! you will wish you didn't eat the chicken from this place. The pizza is bland and dry with bread and cheese base and absolutely no tomato paste or seasoning. There was no flavour to any of the food item i ordered. BBQ wings are not BBQ wings, they looked like left over battered wings with a touch of curry paste and lemon. Fried chicken is the worst!! i would not eat it for free. My stomach is rejecting it as i'm typing this review. It was cold, dry and had chicken hair sticking out of the legs. They tried to cover the hair with crispy batter. The pizza was edible but the toppings i picked had no flavour. If you're hungry leave this page now! You will thank me one day.
HORRIBLE! Worst food, worst delivery. Food was supposed to take 20 minutes, but instead came over an hour later and was the completely wrong order. We are vegetarians and the food came with meat on it. When I called up to speak to the manager, he laughed and said, "Eat it, it's halal!" He then started swearing at me and threatening me saying he knows where I live and he will come and harm my family. The next morning, we all had a bad stomach. Completely crazy, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.
