Really great service. Fitted my body work in over new year so I would have something to drive to new job with no public transport and then did the work beautifully. And they serviced my brakes, for a reasonable price, while it was in. Driving home was like driving a new car! Really pleased and highly recommend.
Recently had my car in for repair. They made a great job of repairing would not know that there had been any damage. I give my thanks to them and would highly recommend.
I am sorry to have to say that although my car was fixed, the actual people lacked customer service , on one occasion I spoke to a lady who was rude at best, they said it would be a week until the assor would be able to look at it for a week so why take my car in a whole week early. I was given an automatic but was 20 years old and was noisy smelly and the power stierring was poor I would not recommend this garage for personal customer care

Completely dishonest. Avoid at all costs. Did an estimate for me returned the car with a completly empty tank. Its only 30 miles to the garage so who knows what they were doing with it when it was in their possession. Either drained the tank or were out joy riding. Also light was further damaged on its return. Only a crack when I gave it to them but returned with the lense completly off making it illegal to drive on the road.
I have just had my vehicle returned after bodywork repairs to both nearside front and rear doors and the car looks as good as new, an excellent job! The delivery driver was very helpful and friendly when dropping off and collecting the courtesy car and returning my vehicle after repairs had been done. I would be more than happy to use Factory Lane Autos again for body repair work.
Avoid by all means. First contact with Factory Lane Autos in Halstead I had in 2019 when I needed repair on my front bumper after collision. Courtesy car offered- cheap and not so cheerful but done the job. Anyway in 2022, paint on the bumper started to peel so we have reported that to Factory Lane Autos. They have agreed to give it another go moreover we have paid extra ( cash on hand ????) to have the whole bumper repainted. The job took them over 2,5 weeks ( you would think they are repainting the whole car ????) which was just enough time not only to repaint the whole bumper but also to make an impressive hole in driver’s leather seat. I got back to the garage to show them the damage. There were two not very customer friendly men at the reception staring at me, one of them made an effort to come out and take the photos, while taking photos he was already trying to deny their fault. When my husband rang them to find out what is the resolution to the damage they have caused - they have said that the damage has been done by us not by them!!! Don’t waste your time and money and possible extra damage to your car- Get service elsewhere!
Repair works carried out was first class.
