Delicious.
Fresh, zingy flavours. Properly spicy but not overpowering Singapore Chow Mein. Strong ginger and fresh spring onions withthe duck. Tender, meaty spare ribs. Good rice. Definitely not the average beige, samey, monosodium glutamate takeaway Chinese. Instead, this was fresh, distinctively flavoured food with good amounts of meat. Arrived on time. Polite, efficient service.
The one criticism is that the duck was thinnish grey slices rather than tender chunks with skin/rendered fat, and duck is normally my favourite. I wouldn't knock a star off for that, though, and will use Evergreen again next time I want Chinese.
Always had wonderful enlarged photos ..poster size & larger of all my dogs..all framed an hanging on my walks ..awesome job!!
Always amazing perfect food. Lovey polite service, cannot fault this place or the owners. This is the only Chinese I would ever order from in Lowestoft.
Just ordered 2 chicken chowmain 1 spice and it was just soy sauce no spice at all with not use again will go to my old takeaway at least its more tasty and spicy as I lick it
Very well priced Chinese takeaway. Shame they don’t do a favourite of mine (pork in hoisin sauce) and they are not on any take away delivery provider (Just Eat, Deliveroo etc) apart from that service is excellent.
Our go to take-away in the area. Consistently good, hot food. Large portions with great flavour. The serving staff are pleasant- taking food orders for delivery and collection with accurate time estimates. We will continue to order from Evergreen and encourage others to give it a try.
1st visit to this takeaway and was really impressed. Food was very tasty, everything cooked to perfection. Will definitely be going back.
Easily the best Chinese we've had in the area - and I believe we've tried them all now! Food is delivered or picked up, waiting times are pretty standard for a take-away and prices reflect a standard across all Chinese in the area.
The food was delicious, not too greasy or oily, and came in reasonable portions. The staff on the till were nice.
Having looked through the doors into the food preperation area, this looks clean and well organised.
Would and will go again and again!
