Très belle balade
Etang Le Fays is a venue we came cross 3 years ago. It’s situated in a forest which is beautiful. It has a large head of carp along with the majority of other freshwater species. The services offered my Mark and Michael is second to non. I recommend the food package. This will remain are preferred yearly venue for the unforeseeable future. Book well in advance as we’re not the only return anglers.
Me and 10 mates hired Etang Le Fays exclusively for a week starting 23/4/2022.
Our group had a mixed bag of experience from some who only recently got into fishing for large carp to others who fish almost weekly and had been to France several times already.
We did our own draw and spaced ourselves evenly round the lake. Every area of the lake produced and all of us caught bar one, who was extremely unlucky to have lost a lump at the net.
In total we caught = 40 carp and 1 grass carp
We had;
Doubles x 6
20+ x 4 to 24.6lb
25+ x 7 to 29.8lb
30+ x 5 to 32.8lb
35+ x 8 to 39.12lb
40+ x 3 to 42.10lb
45+ x 3 to 47.6lb
50+ x 4 to 54.11lb
1 x 27lbs Grass Carp
Mark, the owner and his chef Mike were great!!!
Mark has owned the lake for over 20 years and knows it intimately, his advice was spot on.
Mike's menu was good and the food was great.
If anyone is looking for a venue to fish in France that is relatively close to Calais, has a great food package and holds mega carp to 70lbs+, then look no further!!!!

This place was amazing Mark is a legend and Michael is the best chef I have ever met the lake is beautiful with a great stock of fish the pegs were well kept and the whole site is really looked after I can't wait to go back there to see the guys and fish again magical place 5 stars
Excellent venue. Fishing is good, lake owner will offer his help and knowledge as he wants you to catch fish. Food package is excellent also you wont be hungry throughout the week your here.
A well established carp fishery with a chance of a lifetime fish, its Fishing not catching though, work hard and you will be hopefully rewarded with a monster, food brilliant, staff excellent, showers "Wow" ????
Have not fished for a few years but have to say one of the best lakes I have fished in France. I have seen it involved over the years ,just such a lovely place to fish ,and the facilities are second to none
Beautiful lake, beautil carp and well looked after and amazing food. Mark and Micheal perfect hosts... can't wait to get back here. 5*
