My partner was seen for chest pains and within 10 mins he was in an ambulance. Fortunately he was fine. All health care should be this good. Incredibly well run, efficient, kind and supportive.
Very refreshing for a healthcare centre to be well run, polite and efficient! Visited today for the first time with our little boy who has been a little unwell. We were called through by Lisa after only waiting for 20 minutes. She was so calm and patient with our little boy and in no way made us feel rushed with our appointment! Please pass on our thanks to Lisa! You’re doing an incredible job!
Was triaged , X-rayed and splinted in less than two hours. Staff were incredible with a high level of care, compassion and efficiency. A big well done and thank you to them all.
Sunday day 3 of feeling ill with infection and being asthmatic wanted it checked out . No confidence of seeing my local doctor on Monday ( or any day tbh ) so came here not sure what to expect .
On arrival helpful lady checked me in outside on a tablet . Waiting room was near full . lots of kids with football injuries etc . I'd expected a long wait so brought a book .
Was amazed though to see the speed with which staff dealt calmly with everyone . A father with a young boy with suspected collar bone break came in after me and was seen near enough immediately .
The whole place just seemed to run in a calm , efficient manor ; and this was midday on a Sunday .
Unbelievably 1 hour 5 minutes later I'm walking out after having been seen and assessed with a prescription . Their on site chemist was shut so straight into Tesco's for medicine .
It's now Tuesday and feeling a lot better , thank you Whitstable Walk in Centre , amazing service .
My husband injured his knee and we attended. After an hour, seeing many people coming after us being called, my husband asked the receptionist how much longer do we have to wait. They said five more patients, however, many people were called. We sat there for 1 hour and 45 minutes without even being triaged. Very poor service. Waiting time much longer than it was written on the board. We had to leave as he could not sit on the chair with his pain.
Needed to access the services of the Urgent Treatment Centre Team today, I checked in at 8a.m, friendly, approachable and very helpful staff. Efficient. George listened with patience, professionalism and infinite care to my symptoms, his manner was completely reassuring. Examination conducted, Blood tests and so on done and results came swiftly. Prescription issued and I was home by 9.30 am. with treatment for my physical problem and a considerably more peaceful mind! Could not recommend more highly. I cannot thank them enough, especially George. If you need help, don’t hesitate to go through their doors!
The help I have received today was excellent, very efficient and the nurse consultant was so helpful. I really appreciate your help and advice.
I had an appointment and was collecting my medication from a local pharmacy within the hour. Very impressed with all the staff and such a pleasant medical centre. Thank you all.

What an amazing service. I am in Kent taking care of a poorly grandparent and unfortunately become ill myself.
The unit saw me without fuss, within 10 minutes of booking in. Nurse practitioner was absolutely lovely, much better service than what you get in London!
