Fabulous fish and chips. Very tasty, fresh and portions are huge. Haven't actually been inside the shop, but saw great reviews online so decided to give it a try. Ordered two cods and a large portion of chips home. Received the food promptly and it was nice and warm. Will definitely be ordering again :)
Beautiful light batter & perfect cod, served with fresh light golden chips(no hard difficult crispy bits) Temperature excellent & the tatare topped it off just right! Delicious & fantastic for a Good Friday Supper! Happy Easter to all the team at Ercan Fish Bar.
Service was great and welcoming. Ordered cod and chips. The chips were the only let down as I felt that they were stale. Just very oily and crispy.
This place has been here for a long time, the fish and chips is very good.
Compare to a few doors away Mother Hubbard the chips, fish and battered sausage is very good.
I find mother Hubbard chips and fish bland but the burgers and other items decent.
I stopped here for a no nonsense coffee and a quiet sit down to gather my thoughts but I was delighted to see the interior of this chippy probably hasn't changed since the 70s. Check the tiles, it's almost a museum! I cant vouch for the food because it's not my sort of thing but the coffee is ok and I was clearly charmed by the decor.
Greasy spoon cafe style fish & chip shop that evokes nostalgia to many old customers. Established over many decades, with hardly as many customers once West Ham stadium moved over to Stratford.
Fish is tasty, however, they do not offer the portions that British chip shop are known for and definitely not true representative of Turkish generosity either.
It's sad that their service and portion dwindled as for their old and new customers.
I've uses this chip shop since I was young n goin West ham at upton Park.. always been one of my fav chip shops. Big portions n very friendly staff..

The staff is very welcoming and the service is great. My personal favourite is the lahmacun or otherwise known as turkish pizza. The only item I would rate them down on is their chips. Its too crispy and oily for me but I will be back for more lahmacun!
