Great place, so quiet and tranquill! Food was fresh and very yummy! Great fun for kids as there are ostriches, a donkey, goats, hens and emus and loads of space to run around while you sit down to enjoy your freshly ground coffee (without it getting cold!). We will definitely return with kids and other friends again!

EMUS!!! Emus I tell you! Apart from the fact that these awesome birds look like something out of an avian zombie apocalypse, they are in fact fascinating and friendly. Our 2 year old boy loves the place and never wants to leave every time we visit. He particularly likes the "nice chickens", whereas myself, I have built up a rather good rapport with the resident turkey. Good clean facilities, excellent and polite staff, nice tea and cake; a great place to relax and talk to the animals. There are horses, ponies, goats of various varieties, chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl and..... EMUS!!!! A must visit!
Donna the owner was welcoming and friendly. Loved the experience of seeing and touching the animals. She has 4 emu's that are a character.. Would defiantly recommend going there and experience it all for themselves. Good food at good price

Freshly made sandwiches, toasties and much more, plus homemade imaginative cakes and brownies. Hot drinks and shakes, all competitively priced and generously portioned. A breath of fresh air in a market saturated with “cafes” that are overpriced with dull menus. We’ve been twice in the last month and will be returning soon, lots of walks nearby to reduce the guilt trip of eating so much cake!!
Try it, plus you’ve free entertainment from the local residents (emus etc) !!
Lovely place, lovely owner and animals. Animals are beautiful and love watching them in the fields. Emus are very fascinating to look at, they make very weird sounds.
The food is 5* wont get a better pasty anywhere else!
Lovely sit out cafe with emus and other farm animals. Lovely food and excellent service - we can't wait for the spring re-opening. In the meantime try one of the homemade cakes made to order - we did and it was great
Pretty basic but perfect for young kids. A fair selection of refreshments. No parking but pretty convenient for town and a short walk from the bus routes. Much needed in Launceston.
