It was such a nice evening at Emm's Restaurant! It is located on a silent spot but you can reach it with the bike or also by feet. The people are very friendly and the food was awesome. Prices are also good for such great food. We had Red Curry and Chicken Cashew Nuts. I can really recommend it to everyone. The Restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is georgeous.
Ordered the pad see ew (vegetarian). The flavors were really good and the food was made to order. The restaurant is located in a little garden with coi fish that gives it a good ambiance. The couple there was very nice. The only thing s I found a few ants in my meal. I had a friend order the grilled pineapple fried rice (looked and tasted really good) but because the pineapple was kept on the ground there were a lot of ants on the outside of her pineapple too. I would definitely say if you don’t mind a little extra protein, then this is a good stop especially if you are staying at Koh Yao Heaven Resort.
When on this island it is a must do and if like us you stay in a hotel like Heaven Resort with a basic kitchen it’s a great alternative. The cook uses his homegrown vegetables and food for his typical Thai kitchen. The place has a beautiful garden and pool (with frogs :) Massyman curry is a great dish and Passionfruit Mojito a delicious cocktail. You can even buy alcohol and wine bottles here to take along to hotels wherever they might not serve alcohol (some like ours are managed by muslims and don’t serve cocktails ;)
We were advised to go there and have been there almost every day of our stay on the island. That says enough.
Essen gibt es erst ab 16:00 Uhr, Getränke gibt es bereits ab 10:00 Uhr. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet und man kann beim Essen die Kois (Fische) beobachten. Der Kellner hat bei zwei besuchen jedoch nicht ein Wort mit uns geredet, englisch scheint er aber verstanden zu haben.
Die Preise hier sind völlig in Ordnung. Eines der wenigen Restaurants in denen man alkoholische Getränke bestellen kann.
Best food on the island, and they have a full bar. Alcohol is hard to find on Koh Yao Yai, they also sell beer to go. Beautiful outdoor restaurant, very relaxing. Go here.
