Best KPortal Reviews
Fantastic Scottish breakfast today at Emily’s. Everything was cooked perfectly and went down well with a nice pot of tea. Emily and all the staff are really friendly and welcoming and the food was great - will be back again soon.
We write this with sadness, last night we had the pie and mash which you had started to do.
We had the meals to take away, but was so disappointed with the meal, the mashed potato was a small portion, and cold. The pies weren’t very warm either and didn’t have a good volume in them, asking £8.50 each was very steep, such a shame, my husband and friends and family have eaten at yours several times and no complaints whatsoever. The quantity is so good especially the breakfasts, they have trouble finishing them. Hopefully next time it will have improved.
One of the best full English breakfasts in a while.
Fine tuning on customer service needed for the team , and repositioning window chairs ready for customer to sit as being told someone had broken window when I had to move chair to be able to sit down wasnt welcoming.great cake ,ok coffee .the refill of the cutlery container in the middle of our table whilst we were in conversation wasn't necessary and the" do you want to order another drink"? clearly felt like we had overstayed our welcome . (There was an empty table and no one waiting) .
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed a full Scottish breakfast for lunch. The service was fantastic and very friendly. It was such a pleasant experience that I am looking forward to visiting again, and again.
2nd visit now but can't rate it unfortunately. Went for a breakfast, Uncooked meat which we had to send back, and still no extractor fans so a very smokey atmosphere. Service was friendly enough but unfortunately the other parts just let it down, won't be coming back.
Just got back home after a brilliant breakfast. Full English and Eggs Benedict with a lovely pot of tea for two. Delicious. Would highly recommend, thank you Emily.
After much thought I have decided to do a review. So on Sat. 7th October & looking at the cafe on the outside we decided to treat ourselves to a breakfast before our special seaside weekend away. Arrived 9am, ordered our Scottish & English breakfast. We waited for nearly an hour with a pot of tea for 2 but with 1 teabag! only to be told by, we assume was the owner , she was now closing & unable to serve us. We left very confused and hungry ????.
