Famed amongst other products for their amazing pork pies,can get busy but worth the wait.
Been today,again best pork pie's bar non,just try them and I now you'll agree
Recommended to buy your Pork Pie. I purchased 2 plus a Cheese and Onion tart at a cost of over £11. Oh dear what a disaster the pies were filled with pieces of pork fat and some very chewy gristle pork, no jelly what so ever. The pastry was rock hard. I had a round trip of approx 14 miles so all in all it was an expensive way to feed the rubbish bin.I have put a photo on your homepage
You really cannot beat this butchers, the meat is of a superior quality. The pies, pasties & cook meat are second to none. Even the bread & pastries are of a high quality.
The butchers are helpful & the serving staff friendly. It's a shop that's worth going out of your way to find.
Travelled 100 miles there and back to try Elmhurst and having tasted the food I'd have traveled 200. The sausage tomato rolls were amazing, the steak pies were equally as good and the Scones are the best I've ever had. Brilliant price, fantastic staff. 10/10
Cannot recommend this guy at all! Super obnoxious butcher (male) whose customer service skills are non-existent. When you request minced meat all you hear is he "doesn't want to fiddle around with the machine", i.e. it is too much work for him. No wonder SMEs and family run companies are gobbled up by the big corporations when you offer zero customer service!!! I hope you're next!
Pork pies are outstanding ????, quiche are so good in my opinion best in South Yorkshire ???? wouldn't have any other pork pie from anywhere else but here
