Absolutely brilliant night out, friendly staff and door staff, great DJ and fantastic music. Thanks all.
Night started out fine, but then when two members of the group were challenged to a arm wrestle by another man ( and they agreed) the security decided to throw them out and yet left the other man inside( who even admitted to challenging the lads), and they were quite physical when throwing them out (literally grabbing them and chucked them) even though they didn't do anything.
And then called the other security in the area to stop us from going anywhere else.
Really ruined our night, never going there again (first time going since the guys wanted to go there), would just stick to bodfor that is my regular for a reason.
It was the place to go in the 1990's along with Hamiltons, McCauleys the Bistro and wine bar great nights out visited Ellis a couple of weeks ago its not changed in 30 years! X
Had a grate time at Ellis's bar all staff are professional and the bouncers are amazing.
The staff was not friendly or cooperative, they touch me in my no no square I would not recommend I feel violated
This place is a bit of a dive but the better of the 2 options for a late drink on a weekday.
Used to love going to this pub/bar/club whatever its trying to be now
Nice refurb on the place, staff are good and drinks are fair.
