We have always wanted to visit but yesterday was the first time we were there at the right time of day. We were not disappointed. Great choices on the menu, great service and delicious food. Have to commend the music choice too ????. We will definitely go back. Forgot to photo the dessert but recommend the crumble and brownie with home made ice-cream.

Probably the best fish and chips I had during my 4 weeks trip through Scotland. And I had plenty :) Especially the batter is superb! Super friendly staff, super cozy atmosphere, nice view. Will be awesome in summer when you can eat outside! Nice walks nearby as well. Awesome small spot on Skye.
Hidden gem in the village of Elgol on Skye. The views are fantastic as is the food. We had the Fish and Chips and I can honestly say it was the best fish I have ever had. The homemade ice cream was amazing, I can personally recommend the White Chocolate and Whisky flavour, which is delicious. All in all a lovely evening of great food, in good company, in a fantastic location with amazing views! The owner Donald is happy, friendly, welcoming and informative. If you are passing by it is definately worth a stop and if you aren't passing by, perhaps you should!
Really nice spot on the outskirts of Elgol with outdoor tables. Home cooked food of good quality and very friendly service. Would eat here again.
We stayed in Elgol for 4 days and ate dinner here twice. This is personally my favourite fish and chips that I've ever had and my wife had the Cullen Skink, again, it was absolutely phenomenal. The service and atmostphere or both friendly service and people and beautiful location. Whether you're staying in Elgol or not, it's worth booking a spot and enjoying a wonderful dinner, definitely worth your time and travel.
Great, friendly service at the Elgol Bistro! Fantastic starters (pate and fried mushrooms), mains (Mac and cheese and casserole) and dessert (rhubarb crumble). Only apps in photos as consumed the food too quick but loved it. They also have a small selection of local gifts too!
We even had some of the owners father-in-law’s friendly sheep stop by to “eat for free” on the grass.
Will come back when next in the area!
Amazing food! Absolutely delicious fish and chips. Great location and the staff are super friendly. Would 100% recommend :)
