First time visiting Elena’s bistro today after it’s opened and I can easily say the food is next to none other in Braintree when dining in for breakfast. The service was amazing from the manager, opening the door for you, as you arrived and left to the waiters and waitresses who were very attentive. Yes, the price is a bit higher than those around, but if you want sheer quality and good service, then this is the place to have breakfast. The decor is amazing…very much like Hasturk if you’ve dined there in Freeport.
First visit for breakfast and was pleased to see a new local venue.
Had a normal breckie and Veggie breakfast. Food was good quality however food temp needs to be better and poor poached eggs (should be soft) but will go back and try them for lunch or evening meal.
It would also be good if they offered things like a bloody Mary for breakfast as nobody else does that locally. Wifi would also help as poor signal in building
We've been twice to Elena's bistro and both times, our food and service have been fantastic!
Portion size is very generous and the quality of food is refreshingly good.
The restaurant itself has a really cool vibe and atmosphere which is superb for group meetups, birthdays or treating the kids.
All in all, It's a great asset to the Braintree town centre and we'll certainly be visiting more often!
There were 20 of us dining at Elenas on Friday night. Amongst us, there a wide variety of the menu was selected. Everyone said how much they enjoyed whatever was selected. We received great service throughout the whole evening with all the food coming out together. Personally, I had the Sea Bass main and was impressed with the size of the filets. What a great addition this restaurant is to the town and highly recommend it.

The owner lady is very nice and friendly. This time, I want to have "The Ohio" (Full English Breakfast) with tea. Until she served me, and it looked big size but didn't realised it as there have sort of "Turkish" toast with strawberry, blueberries, raspberry, whipped cream and honey.
Until I eat all and eat toast with fruits. All tastes are so good!
Really enjoyed staying in to chat with my friend as we stayed there for 5 hours, then we left. Decided will come back again soon for more The Ohio ????
