Chips were dry and hard and the fish was freshly cooked as I saw them batter the haddock but the fish must have been frozen as the fish was all watery and mushy and had no taste other than all the oil as it was swimming in it. The curry sauce was just a normal curry sauce nothing special and the battered sausage must have been cooked at the same time as the chips as the battered sausage was rock hard. I got there after 45 minutes of them opening for lunch and I would say everything has been sat there for the 45 minutes they had been opened for. Everything looked lovely but most of it went in the bin. This place was one of my favourite chippies I think I will have to find somewhere new. Plus this place is still cash only it is 2022.
Great chip shop/Chinese takeaway. We have ordered from here twice this week its that good. Very reasonably priced and the food is amazing. My new go to!!

Always friendly people behind the service counter. The food is so nice. Mixed curry is great, and you get big chunks of meat as well. The curry sauce is not too spicy or overpowering. The egg fried rice is so nice, and their omelette is gorgeous. The mushrooms they use are so tasty. The spring rolls are nice as well, but a little oily, though. The only downside was that they only took cash, but its right by a cashpoint so easy to get cash out the cashpoint. There is no dine in at this place either. Very reasonably priced. Would recommend.
Pre order food. Turn up at the correct time to then have to wait an extra 30 minutes. Kind of defeats the point of calling up in the first place.
Food isn’t anything special but ok if you can’t be asked to cook. If your in a rush do not use this take away there too busy for there own good.
Ordered fish and chips with curry sauce which I have given the one for.
Fish is clearly frozen as I have never seen a square cod being caught.
Batter on fish under done and chips came out of the fryer way too early before the fish was even ready.
Disappointed!
Been twice now both times the food was absolutely gorgeous, I’m a contractor who travels across the uk so I eat in a lot of takeaways, this is right up there in my top 5 Chinese takeaways in the uk, flavours are there food is really fresh and not dripping in oil, so far I’ve had the Salt an pepper ribs,, shredded crispy chilli chicken, fried rice, Singapore chow mein & Salt an pepper chicken, all have been excellent.
It’s in a helpful location for me so I gave it a go, staff were ok, prices are quite reasonable and a good selection on the menu. However I ordered a Singapore fried rice and was really quite disappointed as it was quite dry and just had no flavour or spice which I was looking forward to so it was a little disappointing unfortunately.
