Enjoyed lovely tapas here last night in the relaxing cosy restaurant above the pub. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Belen is so friendly and attentive.
I recommend this restaurant you won't be disappointed.
I agree with other reviews I've read here, do not be put off by the pub. I was initially but the food was delicious, all home cooked, you can tell the owner has years of experience cooking. We loved it so much we'll be going back.
Great food, very engaging staff, great choices of beer and cider, music is consistently good, depending if it’s from the jukebox. Been going here for years because of my mother who loves this pub.
Convenient for bus travel, bus stops are near and there’s a Supermarket next door.

Random discovery on our way to, would you believe it, a Cuban salsa festival. We had a delicious and authentic Cuban dinner here, work a warm welcome from the lovely Belen and her family. Will be back!
Superbly cooked and very tasteful. Only slight letdown for me was lack of cocktails even though are advertised. Chips looked like out of the bag. Very good service even though only 1 front of house on. Very kindly given some beef in gravy from the Sunday dinner leftovers when it could of easily been thrown in the bin. My belly definitely appreciated the kind gesture :) The 3 tapas and glass of wine is a absolute bargain at just under£12, very good portions and very hot and fresh ????
