An extremely unreliable service. THEY ARENT WORTH THE PAPER THEIR COMPANY IS PRINTED ON. COWBOYS. AVOID

As I said before- i paid these people to solve my problem and all I got down the phone was their problems and excuses. Instructions were crystal clear and agreed beforehand.Only a moron would miss this. Cowboys? They weren’t registered with the vehicle ombudsman. AVOID

Usually I would always do my best to support a small family-run business, and God knows I have.

However on this occasion, I have to tell the truth as it is. These people have cost me a lot of money with a string of mistakes that make me wonder how they’ve stayed in business at all over the years.

The reason I am giving this review is because, after giving them every opportunity, to hold themselves accountable and make amends, they failed to do so. They’ve burned a bridge. They need to do better. This kind of treatment of customers cannot go without a response.

I wish I had chosen someone else, anyone, all of which are more reliable and cheaper than this absolute shambles of a company, who surprisingly seem to have some good reviews. Wether they’ve been having a bad week or whatever is none of my business. As a customer, all I know is that I just threw my money down the drain.

I can’t remember the last time I dealt with such absolute moronically unprofessional behaviour.

I’ve considered reaching out to the vehicle ombudsman and citizens advice on how to move forward with these lot… Although… I’m not sure I have the emotional capacity to spare a single thought for them ever again.

Based on my experience so far, and the this company’s faults which have been too numerous to mention, not to mention arguably illegal under consumer law, I sincerely urge you to go elsewhere.

Lovely people! Very helpful and fair. Went out of their way to help me. Knowledge on repairs and could do the work that day unlike most places which make you wait a week. Will definitely be coming here from now on!!!

We needing towing on a Saturday from Stenstall to Easingwold. EGL Recovery were fast, reliable, compassionate and decent price for a Saturday tow. Would use again if ever needed.

After breaking down this morning and having the AA pick me up, they were ringing round garages to fix my car for me, everywhere they got hold of told us it would be at least 7/8 days before they could even look at my car! Then EGL Autos were recommended and they were absolute life savers!! Such lovely people who did absolutely everything they could to locate the part that needed replacing and not only got it organised but back up and running all fixed within the day. I can’t thank them enough and would not hesitate to use them again. Thanks guys!

I was given a free MOT voucher from the RAC. ELG was was closest garage to redeem the voucher. Baring in mind I was only booking in for a free MOT I felt very comfortable speaking to Mark who absolutely did his best to accommodate my timings.

By the time my appointment came around the car had unfortunately sprung a water leak.

I felt I was in good hands and handed over the car to repair. I was so happy with the constant update and communication that I also asked for the timing belt to be replaced as this was another thing which I knew needed attention this year and would save me another trip. Again Mark was quick to call back with the price and everything could be done at the same time.

I don't think I've ever experienced a more helpful garage with very kind and informative staff. Highly recommend.

Awesome service from start to finish. My old classic car broke down on the A1 late at night. Called EGL and Vicky had a recovery despatched and with me quickly. Super friendly and helpful driver took great care of the car on loading/unloading and got it home in good time. Would recommend to anyone

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Steve and all the staff at EGL RECOVERY doe going above and beyond to yesterday to help me out with the recovery of a sear friend of mines accident on his motorbike Steve went our his way to help me get the bike recovered of the a19 I can't recommend this company enough absolutely outstanding service and a very quick service thanks once again for everything you did to help. Very professional and very a very fast and efficient service.

Having done the dumb thing of filling my bike with diesel (I know I always thought who could do that!) I tried calling the AA who didn't answer my call and also several other recovery options. No luck. Then I spoke with Vicky from EGL who within 15 mins had a van on its way, picked up me and my bike, dropped me at home and then took my bike to repair. Having meticulously fixing the issues caused, keeping me updated along the way, I collected my bike and it is as it was pre my stupid mistake!

The friendliness of everyone I had contact with was superb, a friendly family run business that I will definitely use again if I ever have the need!!!!
