We visited beginning of October and really enjoyed exploring the emporium with its quirky decor and interesting smells and vibe. The service was lacking in friendliness though...a smartly dressed chap who really looked like he'd rather be anywhere else on the planet. No smiles whilst serving our coffee. Shame really. We spent about £30 , not the sale of the century I know but a smile, a genuine thank you and a polite hope to see you again, wouldn't have gone amiss. A great place but was ruined by member of staff's lack of professionalism.
This is a lovely old church converted into a café - come - hippie shop. The décor is really cool inside. Lots of fun to meander about in there looking at all the wonderful colourful things for sale. Great clothing and felt accessories.
Ok so it does has atmosphere, I'll give it that...if the atmosphere you're looking for is 1960s Berkeley.
As for the coffee, if you're a connoisseur, you'll be horrified. I ordered a latte, and what I received was more like a drip coffee with the barest hint of foam.
The barista at least looks the part of one-acid-trip-too-many hippie, though.
An amazing experience! Great artisan coffee and such a fabulous array of all things from the mystical East! Great clothes, beautiful artwork, all the heady fragrances of Asia. Friendly staff, reasonable prices and fair-trade. Can't praise this place enough. A must see establishment, if you visit North Wales. ????Namaste
No food on our visit on a Sunday, but decent coffee and hot chocolate, and friendly service. This is just a few tables in the middle of a large converted Chapel, the rest of which is a large 'hippy' shop selling clothes and trinkets. Nice enough, no complaints.
As confusing as it is delightful! Imagine a fairly standard cafe inside a hippy shop that is situated in a renovated church. Very nice!
Stopped here for a coffee. Served by a very pleasant young lady who had a genuine smile and made us feel very welcome. Perfect latte. Had a good look around the store which is packed with lovely things to purchase. A must to call in and have a look around.
Really interesting shop. A great ceiling.
