I'm afraid I have to echo other people's reviews.
The first time I went into the shop, just before Xmas 2021, I needed to post a parcel. The older woman behind the counter was very unfriendly and abrupt. Everyone's entitled to a bad day, but....
A couple of weeks ago, I had to post a letter by recorded delivery - and it was (very clearly) a small letter. The same woman behind the counter pointedly checked the size and then said "£2.25. Is that alright?" She was very condescending and bordering on aggressive, which took me aback, as I 'm friendly and very smiley, and am used to people responding to me in the same manner.
Next time, I'll use the PO in Spilsby. It's further away, but at least the staff are helpful and polite.
Great friendly staff, always get a great service from them. I run a small business so sent out parcels and letters, always offer good advise, but it’s difficult when Royal Mail and post office have such outdated rules.
I can find most things I need here instead of travelling to Sainsbury’s in Spilsby. And you only have to ask if they could stock extra bits, I would like more Brie and blue cheese and to my delight there was some in. Prices are not bad. All local too
