The food was good, however my only real bugbear is the cost. The cheapest burger is £10 (not sure of other meals as the 2 of us had burgers) and that doesn't come with a side which starts at nearly another £3. 330ml beers are priced at £4.50 which is also pretty steep. Now the money aside the food was good, but I wouldn't say quite worth as much as they are charging here.
Food was delicious. The service was both fantastic, and fast and efficient.
Not much of a wait for the food, and was very reasonable price for the lunch special.
Can be very busy, and table service can be slow, however the staff are lovely and very professional. They now have some exclusive wines which are brilliant!
Great food to go along with the great staff!
I visited the East Coast Diner while enjoying a relaxing week with my friend in Woodbridge. We were surprised to find it was dog friendly when we stopped by for a drink one evening. The atmosphere was great, so we revisited during the week for the £10 lunch special (a burger & a drink). The burger & Cajun fries were fantastic so we were a little dumbfounded that we were the only ones in there! The chef did a fantastic job, the only downside was the price of drinks which were on the expensive side. Would revisit nevertheless!
Great late lunch, £10 for pizza and a drink was great value. The nice touch was a bottle of water too, I like that. Staff were friendly and fun. I got lost on the way back from the loo.... But we all laughed about it!! Loved the music too, will be back next time we are in Woodbridge. Thank you for a great lunch ????????????????????????????
East Coast Diner is located very centrally in Woodbridge, in a lovely property at the corner of the Thoroughfare (the High street, basically) and Church street. It is tastefully decorated with good use of lighting and there are some good tunes playing, which further enhances the vibe.
As for the food, the pizzas are very thin and very large and made using flour from the nearby, very famous Woodbridge Tide Mill. I thought I would not be able to finish mine because of the size but I did, because it was not only great in size, but also in taste.
The cocktail I had, a classic margarita, was well made too and my wife had a lovely glass of Rioja.
In the end it is simple. Will I go back? The answer to that is Yes. Would I recommend you to go? If you like a slightly more trendy place in Woodbridge with modern music, great pizzas and cocktails, I think you should give it a go.
Very cozy. Lovely atmosphere. Currently enjoying an open log fire on a cold winter night!
Fast friendly service. Family of four had our meals in front of us within 10 minutes.
Very good sized portions, great tasting food.
Kids meals are good value. Vegetarian option was pretty darn good!
