I would definitely recommend Eaglescliffe pharmacy, the workers are all so nice and service is always efficient. Won’t go anywhere else for my prescriptions!
I visit the chemist regularly and also the post office, although unfortunately there is a member of staff that is quite rude and abrupt as the other reviews on here say, the rest of the staff are totally lovely! it must depend on who you get to serve you. I feel it is very unfair to only review bad situations and not also include positive ones. After using this post office as my local one for many years i do enjoy going to it and like the friendliness of the staff while i post items and also collect prescriptions, thanks to them for doing a hard job well.
Called in the shop today to use the post office and pharmacy . A lady in front of me at the post office counter had two large bags of parcels and envelopes , so after counting 9 parcels and seeing that she still had a load more to post I decided after having already waited for 15 mins I just couldn't wait anymore as I had to be somewhere else . So I moved to the pharmacy counter and waited for an assistant who then arrived at the counter , totally ignored me and proceeded to start tieing up some post office sacks !! I was furious at the point and left the shop . Rude bad service that needs addressing . I also feel that as the post office does not offer all the services of the bigger post offices then perhaps it would be an idea if they had a limit of parcels that you can put over the counter as there is only one person serving it causes a long wait for others and not very good for the many pensioners who may not be comfortable standing for long periods . So all in all I was in the shop for 25 minutes and had no service at all . I will say that a couple of the assistants are really nice and helpful but the others definitely need a training course in customer services !!
