Only used this place once, for double burger and onion rings. The burgers come in a bap with absolutely nothing else: no salad, no sauce etc. Ridiculous. The burgers themselves are edible but taste like those ultra cheap low quality ones. I really didn't want to give a poor review but it does merit one. The prices are on par with other such takeaways, therefore I should reasonably expect salad, sauce etc and not ultra budget burgers.
Have to give honest opinion unfortunately today the chips were soggy and tasted as if were left over from lunchtime, as did the battered sausage, which the batter being hard and tough to cut through and the sausage itself dry, again as if had been standing for a long period of time.
It's such a shame as my previous meal from here was spot on.

I love this fish bar and the staff, they are polite and friendly. I get the pensioner special at lunch times occasionally. I was worried at first, what it would be like I have never been disappointed. Cooked fresh, the chips are tasty and the fish is a good size. I always pre order.
Best fish and chips in Duston. Large portions, fish cooked to perfection and staff are speedy and friendly.
Absolutely love the chips from here. Great local chippy. Traditional store with good value prices. Also love their battered items, always fresh and not overly greasy/oily as it can be from other chip shops.
Was able to pre order , the fish and chips were delicious, pure white fish and lovely light batter ,chips good too. Always nice service.
