Great value for money and a place where you feel welcome.
Just sitting on Freshwater Bay, after having devoured one of Duo's baguettes. We were going to have chips, but they were closed. RESULT!! We had three different baguettes, all stuffed with fresh fillings, and on warm bread - superb! Only a small place, but very big on service, price and quality. ????????????????
Amazing baguettes, only been twice but definitely coming back when I have the chance. Absolutely reccomend to anyone in the area. The two people working there were very nice and chatty. The prices are good too. Also the shop itself is well maintained and clean.
Duo has to be the best filled-baguette shop in the world! I'm aware that people come from far and wide - and we're not just talking about within the UK here - to enjoy Izzy and Maria's wonderful creations. All freshly made, while you wait (or phone in order your in advance), with ingredients, prepared to their own recipes, by them that same morning. Truly delicious food and truly delightful people.
I'm not the most Christmas loving person in the world, but a Christmas baguette from The Duo makes even a Grinch like me a believer. Absolutely fantastic, faultless. Best baguettes on the planet. Lovely people, great service, prices that suit every pocket. Just the best!
Really nice sandwich shop with amazingly friendly staff. Highly recommend. Much better to grab a really sandwich/baguette here than spend far more on distinctly average food at one of the parks or tourist spots.
