Great service, great food and great atmosphere. Was recommended by a friend not long ago and now it’s my favourite chippy and it’s definitely the best in the Forest of Dean by far. (Also great portion sizes and lovely kebabs).10/10
A little slow serving due to being busy and cooking some things to order.
Chip portions enormous!
Mini fish or regular size cod very filling.
Food sat on side going cold. No direction. Staff taking and serving order complete mess. Shouting at each other, pointing at customers clearly can't deal with a Friday rush. Food still good though.

The best chip shop i have been to in so long and we live near the sea at that such friendly staff food cooked to order not kept warm for hours on display amazing kebabs and portions are massive cannot recommend high enough unfortunately no pictures as was dark but take our word on it you won't be disappointed
Absolutely worth a visit. I'm from Norfolk, love a chippy so got my usual saveloy chips curry sauce. Sauce was bang on saveloy had a nice wobble with a good chompy skin and meaty flavour. Chips were better than average and the portion size was more than enough. For nearly half the price I normally pay
We stopped here last Saturday after me doing work in the area. I had nothing, wife had fish and chips. Looked absolutely amazing. So today I went there on my lunch break, fish and chips. Beautiful. Trying their chicken kebab next as I saw it on the stick. That looked good. Well worth the drive from Monmouth.
Bought a kebab and fish and chips ! While waiting , noticed the dirt and dust (on the fridge and fan above the food ) the place was very dingy, the guy doing the frying looked like he needed a bath ! The plus side the young lady that was serving was very polite! Did not eat the kebab as didn't taste nice , also the mayo on it had a sticky texture ????
