Nice old pub on the way to Cirencester on the Gloucester Road at Stratton. Nice drive there. Not alot of parking but places around to park. Plenty of seating inside and couple of tables outside. They do show sport. Only had drinks which was reasonably priced. Would go again
Took a group of work mates for a game of skittles. We had take away pizza which was really nice of the pub allowing us to do that. Brilliant atmosphere and staff will be returning soon. Thanks DRILLMANS
Staying nearby so dropped in for 2 evenings. Pub quiz and Skittles match taking place on first night. Lovely welcome on arrival by owner on both nights and also ensured we were given a seat, friendly locals.
Good pint of Guiness. Recommend a visit if your in the area
Just popped in for a quick drink. Seemed friendly and, although we didn't stay for it, the quiz night was popular.
It might be quite small: only saw the single room with the bar at the front, though this doesn't mean there isn't more.
Just had excellent Sunday roast with all the trimmings.This is real home cooking. Had pork, moist and full of flavour, followed with pud and custard. The pub is a happy place to be in, with log burner. Good old fashion pub.
Welcoming, roadside pub serving traditional ales in a comfortable setting. Ideal for that quiet drink and conversation. Just far enough removed from town centre activity!

Very busy pub, friendly, helpful bunch, staff and local. Good pint of Guinness,
