Just ordered for the first time after hearing good things from others. Just paid over £40 and they are disgusting. Opened them up and its swimming in grease cant taste anything other than that. Chips taste like they were warmed up and rubbery. Absolute joke and won't be going back. Dont know what those who recommended this place had but what a waste of money

This place does really nice food. The 1 problem I have is the fact they NEVER put scraps on. I always ask for it on the notes on delivery. Even when I go in the shop and order I have to ask twice and watch to make sure they go on. Theirs no number to call the restaurant as it just goes to an inbox. Its not the main part of the meal no but for me a chippy just simply isn't the same or as nice without them. They are free and should be included when asked. This is the 3rd time in a row now so I will be buying from a different chip shop from now on. And I buy alot of them so this is a real shame on this place. The notes should always be read from online orders incase customers have dietary requirements etc so theirs just no excuse.
The fish, chips and curry sauce were of the highest quality. The fish was made to order. Staff were polite enough they just weren't very friendly.
I enjoyed my meal it was hot and very tasty. I wish that maybe a senior meal could be on the delivery options as the portion was very large and I had to waste some of it which seems a shame ordered again today 15th April. Very disappointed the food tasted as tho it had been reheated from lunchtime. Not worth the price. Won't be ordering again
Been going for a couple of years. Fish and chips Ok.BUT.on Friday 8th at 3.ish.bought fish and chips. and were dreadful. Chips warmed up.from day before.
Not changed the cooking oil. If this happens again. I will not be using Drakes anymore.

Husband ordered cake and chips, absolutely rubbish, chips were very sparse, cake was nothing like I've had before, thin piece of potato in between 2 bits of over done batter. Tried to ring up and let them know how disappointing they were, but mailbox was full!
I just got fish & chips delivered as a treat to myself. They were absolutely awful. They had been microwaved, probably from lunchtime, the batter was that hard you couldn't bite into it and the chips were just greasy piles. Will not buy from here again.
Forgot to mention I did ring them but no answer, so I left a message.
