Best takeaway in the city, infact siu the amazing, talented woman behind the counter is one of the funniest, most caring employees I have by far ever met. Also, not to forget their lovely son Daniel, they are a multi-talented family with exquisite cooking skills. Bravo Siu bravo!!
This is our favorite Chinese take away in stoke. We live in Northwood and have tried all the Chinese take aways in the area and this is by far the best. Nice people to talk too, delivery is fast apart from the weekends, nothing to too much for them. I think we have changed half the menu but everything is perfect. If you have any issues please let me know as I would put my name on this place.
This Chinese takeaway has been open for as long as I can remember. The food is great, the portion size is perfect not overly greasy and most items are fairly priced.
I am biased as I tend not to try many other Chinese style takeaways.

Update: 19 April 2024: Latest Singapore Chow Mein was Excellent and a big portion. Compliments to the Chef. However, the last 3 Singapore Chow Mein's purchased on a Wednesday have been below par in terms of taste. Maybe picking up unwanted flavour from the previous cooked meal. So I will not buy on that day anymore!
Update 15 March 2024: Last TWO Singapore Chow Mein's have been OUTSTANDING. Great balance of ingredients, texture and taste! Big portion. Compliments to the Chef! The family owners always aim to please! Great service too!
Update: 15 Feb 2024: My latest Singapore Chow Mein was Gorgeous with a perfect balance of ingredients and great texture. Lovely big portion too. Also previous Chow Mein was nice. Compliments to the Chef.
Update 26 Jan 2024: Disappointed, yesterday's Singapore Chow Mein was not so Good this time. Texture was lacking with no onions and not enough bean sprouts. Meat content had too much pork and not enough chicken, so not properly balanced. Overall it was a bit stodgy. Taste was a little lacking too. Hopefully this is just a blip.
Update 1st Dec 2023: Latest Singapore Chow Mein was OUTSTANDING and PERFECT. Great texture and taste and lots of quality chicken, pork and prawns. Big portion. EXCEPTIONAL. Compliments to the Chef!!
Update 27 Oct 2023: Last couple of Singapore Chow Mein take outs have been PERFECT, great texture and flavour and quality chicken, pork and prawns. I love it, compliments to the Chef!!
Update 6 Oct 2023: Pretty much perfect Singapore Chow Mein. Great texture with onions, beansprouts and noodles and lots of of chicken, pork and shrimps nicely balanced. Flavour was very good but not quite perfect, but overall the Chow Mein was easily a 9 out of 10 !!!! Compliments to the Chef!!! I will be visiting again soon!!
Update 24 Aug 2023: Singapore Chow Mein was very good with lots of meat but this time NOT quite perfect as onions were lacking and flavour pretty good but NOT Excellent. The chef does try hard to get things right but I feel my Chow Mein from a few years ago was better in terms of taste and texture. Will continue to monitor.
Update 21 July 2023: Slightly disappointed with Singapore Chow Mein. Lots of meat so that's good but no onions and the flavour and texture were below par. I think the cooking was rushed. Also the food had a slight whiff about it rather than having an appetising smell.
Update 1st June 2023: First of all there's been a BIG JUMP in PRICES of around 12%....however my Chow Mein continues to be EXCELLENT with lots of meat and a big portion and WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY!!!!!!!!
Update 11 May 2023: Good texture and flavour in my Singapore Chow Mein, but LESS meat than usual. Seems everytime it's slightly different.
Update: 17 April 2023: Normal service has resumed. Very good Singapore Chow Mein with good flavour and meat content
Update 20 Feb 2023. Disappointed. Taste of Singapore Chow Mein not right, where's the proper seasoning for this takeaway????? Is it a different cook???? This has been a regular problem lately and is stopping me from visiting!!
Update: 5 Jan 2023, Disappointed, my last 3 visits dating back to mid December 2022, the Singapore Chow Mein has been under par. Everything was good apart from the flavour which was lacking. One visit recently the Chow Mein tasted bland and totally without seasoning

Update: Easter Sunday 2022: Disappointed. Not so good this time, less meat than usual in the Chow Mein, but tasted nice, felt shortchanged. Maybe the owners are trying to claw back more profit, will give it a miss for a while
Great Chinese. The crispy duck & salt and pepper chicken never fails.
Took 2 hours to arrive, kept being told it was on the way, food was stone cold not impressed ????????
If you're looking around for excellent food and service, look no further - I've ordered from 'Dragon' for several years and can honestly say every single meal has been excellent AND prepared how I asked, coupled with really tasty, generous portions and fast delivery.
Tonight I had a Singapore curry with Sinapore rice - It was as superb as with all the other meals. In fact so good I should have left a review a long time ago.
Credit where its due - to the staff at Dragon thanks very much!
PS if you want value try one of the 'one tray specials' :)
Satay vegetables were good. Would order again. The curry sauce was a bit bland.
The front of the takeaway building needs redecorating, it looks quite off putting.
