My son suffers with serious mental health episodes I have been begging for referral to mh team so that he can get assessed and be treated according I have explained he has no capacity to book his own appts I am his main carer in every respect but GP telephones to asks me if he can look at his ‘diary’ and book his own appt it saddens me to to think how far these gp’s are from reality ! I have made several request for appointments and have requested he not be texted but no he is always texted and he promptly canx does this not a bell ring somewhere ! We get no where and Our suffering goes on ! I would love to add photo but it’s too distressing to do so hence no !
Much appreciate the help and support of one. of the reception ladies who went the extra mile to sort out my urgent prescription needs 10 minutes before long bank holiday weekend. Rude receptionists. An hour on hold. 10 million hoops to jump for a simple appointment/prescription/whatever. Doesn't matter which avenue you try, you're always wrong. Receptionists loose important documents.
Every time I have to call the surgery I am waiting for a receptionist to answer between 40mins to over an hour.
What do elderly people do or those that are anxious and need to be spoken to urgently?
No wonder so many people are seeking private healthcare! I can book an appointment and speak to a doctor in the same time it takes for my doctor surgery to even answer the phone!
I have been a patient at this practice for many years. I have always managed to get an appointment and the E-consult facility works so well. I always get a response back the next day. Dr Mitchell is my go to Doctor here, and phones me even without appointment to check up and advise. The best in Chislehurst.
Don't recommend. Surprised at the ratings this place currently has - I registered over a month ago which had been a struggle. I got given a form to fill out which was not correct, I only live a couple of minutes away and rather than calling me to tell me they had made a mistake and given me only part of the registration form, I waited two weeks for my registration information (which I still don't have) and was shocked to get another form at the door to fill out which needed to be handed in instead. Once I'd done that I was told that I could have an appointment if I call on Friday morning at 8, which I had but the phone was engaged. I got through to someone at reception at 8:30 who was so rude about this I won't be attending this doctors now at all as it's so inappropriate that I feel completely uncomfortable and I can only imagine how the rest of the staff will speak to their clients. Though, she sounded very elderly with a frail voice, so I wonder if it's because the business need younger staff who can handle the job better and who will be quicker getting letters sent out etc. She was extremely condescending, and told me no appointments until after Christmas and the last thing you want when you have an illness that you haven't been treated for is to be attacked over the phone for trying to receive treatment. Massive shame because I hoped this doctors would be able to help me and I feel I have no option but to stick to walk-in clinics now. Another thing - you also have to tell the receptionists why you need to see a doctor - Imagine! With characters like that handling your information, I can only assume that's so they have something to gossip about when it's quiet, and as I said, due to the length of time it took to send out a correct form, and the fact I still haven't been officially registered after it's been over a month, I doubt they're doing much else behind the desk. Hope this review helps others go elsewhere, because that's where you'll be sent anyway after waiting for over a month. Hugely disappointing.
Rude, unhelpful Receptionists ruin this surgery. The customer service is awful especially as a recent mother with a young baby I can’t believe the way I’ve been made to feel by the staff here. It takes over an hour each time you try and book an appointment and when you feel that tiny glimmer of hope that you’ve finally got through you’re made to feel sh*t again due to the Reception staff
Waited 56mins, no 8 in the queue, to be told they will need to call me back.! This has not happened previously with the same issue. ????????♀️
