We were visiting Sunderland from another city and came across this place. It's situated in the city centre and every dish we ordered was good. The gentleman who took our order was friendly. The portion was also descent.
This place is fantastic, right in the heart of Sunderland. It's something the town really needed. The burgers are incredibly delicious, especially the chilly cheese bomb if you like some heat. Don't miss out on pairing them with the amazing mocktails. Wishing you all the best—I'll definitely be back to enjoy the 5-star ambience, reasonable prices, top-notch food quality, and excellent customer service!
Do not let the outside make you walk away like it nearly did us.
The food is great value we had a deal 2 for £15 plus chips and rice as a side totalling £20. This fed 2 of us and we still had food left over. Bargain ????????
Very quiet dinning in but plenty of delivery activity. Clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and accommodating.
Would recommend and we will be back again when visiting the area.
Donner tasted like the frozen shop-bought types and didn’t taste nice, unfortunately. The Red Devil doner kebab was the better dish but wasn’t that hot at all, maybe should have asked for hotter.
The Peri chicken breast piece was way too dry.
The wings were decent and had good flavour.
Rice, chips and wedges were to a good standard.
The sizzler dip was nice and full of flavour but not hot. Garlic Mayo was bog standard.
All dishes were of good potion size and reasonably priced for the amount of food.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and not too far a walk from the centre.
If I come again will try the burgers as they look good in the photos.
Def a cut above the standard late-night takeaway! Got in just before closing time but the service was still really friendly and happy to have us eat in, really tasty parmos and nice to be able to eat them with a knife and fork rather than out of a pizza box. Garlic sauce was ace and tasted home made. Kebabs looked nice too. Definitely hit the spot for the end of the night but without being too greasy or heavy.
Today's meal was fantastic! The staff here is really friendly, and they even gave us complimentary drinks and food. I tried the Dr Q's chilli cheese bomb, and it was amazing. My wife and kids loved their meals too. Overall, it's a solid 5 stars from me!
The food was fantastic, and we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly it arrived. No long waits, and every dish was perfect. We're definitely planning to return. If you haven't been, you're missing out on a great experience!
