I really like the milky coffees here — their dairy milk is so good. If the weather is nice, the outdoor seating is a treat. Not a fan of the indoor space, seats are uncomfortable and it’s usually full of people with laptops, so not a lot of space to linger and have a conversation. Haven’t tried the food here, but there’s usually a good selection of sweet and savoury pastries that look nice.
Nice teas, coffees and baked goods + you can buy a loaf of sourdough. There’s some seating outside too which is nice when the weather warm enough.
This place tends to be busy on weekends when there is a bit of wait for your coffee.
Cute bakery with secluded outside space. Had a pastry which was dry maybe it was left over from the previous day. Service ok, not brilliant. Maybe I will give them another go, it could have been an off day. I wanted it to be good.
The atmosphere is very unsettling, the owner (guy with grey hair/beard) has no regard for his staff members and frankly can be labeled as a bully. I have now witnessed his horrid behaviour multiple times when visiting for a coffee. He talks down to his staff members and starts arguments when they are busy serving customers. You can sense that the staff members are really impacted by his behaviour, it’s uncomfortable watching this as a customer, I can’t imagine what it must be like to work here.
I would like to say the staff are lovely and friendly and this could be a great place for a spot of lunch, if not for the horrible behaviour displayed by the owner on a daily basis.
Atmosphere was a tekky lil step as 4 Plymouth away fans (Visiting the hair shops across the street) where in there using the amenities! One of which was popular YouTuber and fitness influencer Pieface! The staff behind the counter were slow and kinda emo looking. A lady with a Wolf cut came out of the toilet after 45 minutes and we had to evacuate causing the oven to be left on and back door was left unlocked causing wolf cut girl to make a swift escape like her brother to Panama. The old geezer there was kinda rude to me as he said I have 11 toes due to my Norwich background (which is true). I’m not sure how he found out! Overall a great experience. Here’s a poem I wrote
In a coffee shop, where the aroma should be sweet,
There's a place that's got a funky beat.
Plymouth supporters gather, they're ready to cheer,
But this coffee shop, my friend, it's not so clear.
Bad coffee, bad smell, it's a terrible scene,
Plymouth fans in the mix, causing a caffeine fiend.
And there's a girl with a wolf cut, she's got her own style,
But when she used the toilet, it was just too vile.
The coffee's bitter, the atmosphere's off,
But the Plymouth fans stay strong, they never scoff.
And that girl with the wolf cut, she's got her own flair,
But that smell she left behind, man, it's hard to bear.
Bad coffee, bad smell, it's a terrible scene,
Plymouth fans in the mix, causing a caffeine fiend.
And there's a girl with a wolf cut, she's got her own style,
But when she used the toilet, it was just too vile.
Maybe it's time for a new coffee spot,
Somewhere fresh and clean, where the smell's not so hot.
But until then, we'll make the best of this place,
With Plymouth fans and a wolf cut girl's grace.

Pastries are very good but the coffee failed to impress me. It lacked flavour (marginally more taste than a costa or Starbucks) and the milk texture was a bit off hence the latte art being very blotchy. On the upside the atmosphere is nice and there’s lots of seating.
Great staff excellent service but the old man who runs the place treats them horribly from what I’ve seen.
I did not feel comfortable seeing the way he treated his staff especially as a lady. We saw him picking fights with staff and ruining the good atmosphere cultivated young folks working there. If you want to support a local business there are plenty of coffee shops in Peckham that deserve your money and time more than this drunk bully. I found his attitude deeply unpleasant.
I googled him and discovered his poor attitude has already lost him quite a bit of money with his previous business and it seems he’s on the right track to do so again.
I was DJ here for two lovely ladies' joint birthday party. The staff were friendly and welcoming as ever. The place was cleaned before the venue became a party space and I enjoyed the decor too! I recommend this venue to anyone who wants to experience the arch and who likes minimal, clear spaces with lots of gorgeous plants and flowers. It didnt disappoint. Thanks again to the team and party hosts ????
