Had my wife’s Fiat 500 MOT and new tyre fitted excellent service.
Had a slow puncture. Called in, they checked it out ordered me a new tyre, fitted it the next morning. First class service. Always a pleasure to be treated like a normal person. I would always recommend them every time.
Popped in today to ask if they could test my battery. I thought this would be a 30 second job. Mechanic spent five minutes doing full test and giving outcome. Great old-fashioned service from mechanic and reception and no attempt to fleece me. I will be back!

Beware - Found out why there so cheap
we’ve came to this garage the last 2 years to service our car we thought everything was good until now not long after service we’ve been having problems with the car we took it in to (a more professional Vauxhall garage) and found out that they have not even been changing the oil which was supposed to be part of the service price which as now damaged the engine, costing a lot to repair.
So make sure and check everything they are supposed to do and they actually do it and make sure they do replace the new parts you have payed for before you pay.
I can’t rate this garage highly enough. Having taken my car to several different garages over the years, I will now use no one else. They have been the only one to diaognose a complex problem I’ve had. They were also friendly, efficient, genuine and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much!
I've never written an online review, and rarely recommend people. However, Dolans have looked after us for nearly 20 years, and I simply can't fault them. Only today my wife's car developed a clutch fault on the way to work at 7:00am and she had to simply abandon it in front of the garage. It wasn't booked in, they didn't know it was coming, but despite a full schedule they still found time to diagnose the problem and find a solution for us. the car will be fixed and back with us tomorrow. Good honest engineering, and a great team of mechanics.
