Booked a table for Sunday lunch, 5 people including 1 toddler . When we arrived , our table was clearly reserved and a high chair was already at our table. The staff are lovely, made the whole experience a pleasant one. The food was beautiful and the portion size was very generous, I had so much meat on my plate! Very happy, will be visiting again very soon.
Visited here for the 2nd time and again we were not disappointed. The food was really tasty and presented lovely. I had light bite fish and chips and my friend had the sizzling beef skillet. Beer and wine good and reasonably priced, service was also good, server was knowledgeable professional and polite ???? Looking forward to going back.
Called in for little afternoon bite to eat today was worth it the gammon is the best gammon i have had. Was really hard to choose with whats on offer i was told the gammon was the dogs you know whats, it was perfect with nice chunky homemade chips. Always great pint very friendly staff, other customers always friendly and chatty wouldnt find a more welcoming local little pub with best food.
Lovely little pub. Food quality belies it's quaint exterior. Superb food and nice drink. Erdinger on draught is a winner! Staff really friendly and helpful. This place has transformed in recent years. Plus dogs are welcome so that says it all for me! Highly recommended!
Went on sunday afternoon. It was a great place to eat the light bites where amazing, and the pudding was great, all at a reasonable price. With very friendly service, the drinks had a good selection and the price was decent. I would go again happily ????.
A really nice pub with good food at a good price. Great service from the North East gent looking after things. Was kind enough to provide a water bowl and some dog treats for our Labrador as soon as we arrived.
Will certainly stop by again!
Grand national day lunch! With my husband and daughter I would highly recommend the prawn linguine the best I’ve ever had I’ve been to some fancy restaurants but this is the best dish by far! nicely washed down with a Sauvignon blanc delicious. Our daughter had the chicken wings and chips which she said was delicious also. My husband had the lamb and veg pie and chips both were very good chips were amazing he said! That was complimented very well with a nice pint of moretti. Lovely place service and staff excellent would highly recommend and cannot wait to go back.best pub food we’ve ever had I noticed you previously had lasagne on the menu please please consider bringing lasagne back as we are lovers of this pub classic and we can imagine it would be very nice! Be back very soon thanks.
Came here for lunch on a quiet Monday afternoon. Food was probably if not the best I’ve ever eaten at a pub. I’ve had worse meals in restaurants it was genuinely superb. It’s a shame that I don’t live closer because this was genuinely fantastic. 100% recommend
