I had an ear infection while on holiday in Tenerife. Doctor and receptionist were so thorough and kind in treating me. I got antibiotics, anti inflammatory and anti histamines prescribed and administered. Care was exemplary and so professional. I felt better very quickly after the consultation. I developed a chest complaint and the doctor diagnosed I quote"severe bronchitis". She administered three vaccinations (one per day) followed by seven days of antibiotics. Two days after stopping my medication I developed serious sickness and diarrhea. The end result being treated in Hospiten Sur for SIX Days. I had an endoscopy and it was found that my stomach was inflamed, swollen and I had scarring on the lining of my stomach. The consultant treating me and I quote " a bad reaction to antibiotics" I don't think so ! I am a 76 year old woman and in my lifetime I have had antibiotics often with no reaction whatsoever. I believe I was overdosed ! ! My husband called in to politely ask about their complaint procedure only to have the Doctor shouting in Spanish at him. Avoid this surgery is my advice.
Excellent Medical lives up to its name. I had to take my 6 year old here as she was very sick. Mirella was so helpful and reassuring at reception and Dr Libia was so thorough in her examination; she prescribed medication that was needed and my daughter was much better straight away.
