I was referred here for an emergency appointment after another dental practice failed to find the issue. I was seen to quickly and throughly; had an X-ray where a hole right near my nerve was found. I was given a pain free filling and the dentist (whom I didn’t catch the name of) was very gentle and kind. If they were taking on nhs patients; I’d 1000% register with them. I have terrible anxiety regarding the dentist and I was made to feel comfortable and listened too. Thankyou!
I didn’t know how many stars to put as I always have great service from the staff here. BUT!!!! Today I was made to feel uncomfortable and belittled by the male receptionist making a joke out of my hearing disability , I wear hearing aids and find I have lack of confidence with my hearing anyway. Because I couldn’t here the appointment time correctly on the phone yesterday and got the day wrong , I tried to explain that I was sorry and that I had trouble hearing on the phone , the receptionist then stood up and shouting in my face in what he thought was a jovial tone , mocking me and asking if I could here and still directing his shouting in my direction telling me what time the next appointment was , I felt so embarrassed, I didn’t say anything just went out quietly and cried when I got outside , now looking back I wish I told him to step back , I did say I have got my hearing aids in. But he just shouted over me . I also have autism which makes situations like that 10 times worse .
If he let me explain that I find speaking and hearing on the phone hard then maybe he would have understood , maybe not … I felt bullied in those few minutes. But I feel I have to say something not just for myself but for anyone else with a disability… I would never speak to anyone like that … we were charge for missing are appointment as well , I won’t be going there again . I think my mom will but I’m to scared to go there again.
This was the second emergency dentist appointment, previous one was another place who put my filling on top of the root in my tooth.
Attended diplomat dentist, met by two females, completed x-ray (which didn’t happen at previous place), we’re able to see an impacted wisdom tooth as well as filling being right on the root!!. Treatment given and now pain free!!! Thank you so much for being so kind to me and supportive! But most of all for sorting the problem out!.
Would absolutely recommend this place!.
Absolutely amazing dentist. The lady dentist takes so much pride in her work. My daughters tooth had root canal and a composite filling, you would never know as the tooth looks so amazing that there was any damage from her accident. I'm so eternally grateful as we couldn't get an NHS dentist but these got her in urgently and dealt with her kindly.
Definitely avoid at all costs.thankfulky there's other dentists who provide a better service to the public
Myself, my husband and my son have been nhs patients of diplomat dental for the past few years and have always been very happy with the service we receive. I had always had issues with anxiety around dentists but Goska is lovely and I always feel at ease in her care, all the staff are lovely and friendly. We always receive thorough checkups, follow ups, care and advice and I would highly recommend Goska and her team.
Lovely, professional and caring dentist. Gosia is a diligent and knowledgeable dentist. I felt reassured at every stage and confident that the treatment I’ve received is best for me.
Have always been nervous at the dentist but Rafal is great I have total confidence in him, he explains exactly what he is doing and the best way to treat any issues. While I don't look forward to an appointment I certainly don't dread it like I used to
