Very poor food quality when we went. The prices are good but everything was not made well. We waited for our family burger bundle (which was fine) but when we opened it, everything was so extremely oily and soft. The burger buns were so soft they were almost mushy, the breading on the chicken strips was all falling off and some were naked and the wings were like balls of grease. The chicken had no flavour either. The staff were nice the food needs to improve a lot. Will not be returning.

In all honesty, the food at UK fries chicken is price-worthy, and good. However, I experienced bad service sometime lastweek when I went there with a friend- an experience that changed my perception about the place. We had placed an order and over 30minutes we never were attended to, however, we observed customers that came after us were promptly attended to, when I confronted one of the attendants, he said “if I am not pleased, I should leave, and not complain”. I made him understand, I would have left but I couldn’t as I paid before waiting for my order. As a black guy from Africa, I felt racial dscrimination and disrespect from them. Hence, I promised not to patronize them outlet anymore.
Best fried wings in derby from all the chicken shops. Taste similar to London based chicken shops and old school mr cod’s. The breading stuck to the wings and not greasy as other local shops. The meals are reasonably priced but solo items such as 4 wings on its own could be priced for better value.
The best chicken shop in town no doubt !!
They’ve got the lowest serving I’ve ever seen and I had to wait 30 minutes for my simple chicken burger and some wings
