First time in a while since I was last in.
Kids meals £5 and very good value.
Seats could do with being changed over as some are starting to show there age but overall a good wee cafe.
Family run too.
A no nonsense simple cafe. We had cheeseburger chips and salad. I had a side of baked beans. All tasty and good service.
My partner and I had an unpleasant first experience eating here. He ordered steak pie and was given stew with a slab of puff pastry. Whilst the stew was nice, it wasn't what he asked for.
I ordered macaroni and cheese. The cheese sauce was awful and I had to add lots of tomato sauce and salt for it to be somewhat edible. The salt shakers weren't that good so tonnes of salt flew out and still wasn't enough to save the meal, which was telling.
I know the prices were cheaper, but I could still get good quality at that price in other establishments.
The waiting time also took ages, and I had overheard one table order a milkshake. I then saw the waitress pour the contents of a Yahoo milkshake bottle into a glass which feels like lazy reselling.
Heavily disappointed.

Basic standard of burgers, uncooked macaroni, cheese sauce was OK.. But not fresh just from tin or packet,
Nice decor but cutlery not cleaned properly with 6 different sets, will avoid in the future as there are plenty of others at cheaper prices within walking distance.
Love this little bistro,lovely warm welcome, staff very friendly+ polite, can't do enough for you, food is lovely only place in town that can cook scrambled eggs properly, been going here for a while now+ they never disappoint. Excellent service 100,% recommend.
