Name is misleading tbh. Distinctly mediocre panini (dry and lacking any flavour) but desert offerings were better (albeit expensive for what they were). Cant think I'd need to revisit here
I had a great experience with the friendly lady at the front of the house, but my impression was soured when I overheard a staff member from the back yelling at colleagues for chatting with customers, which I found patronizing and rude. At that time, all customers had been served and were waiting for their food to be prepared. I won't be returning to this place.
Took 15 minutes after ordering to get a small sausage sandwich when it wasn't busy. Need to try and speed up how long it takes from a customer ordering to them getting their food
Paid £3.50 for a cream scone to take to mother in nursing home. They sqashed it into a very small thin BROWN PAPER BAG. By the time I got to the home 5min drive away, the bag had disintregrated & the scone ended up on reception carpet. Is this another cost cutting idea, use a bit of common scense & put some cellophane around like most good bakerys do.
The queue outside speaks for its self. Everything is absolutely delicious. So far our office staff have tried salads, sandwiches, cakes, pork pie, and breakfast sandwiches. We just want to try everything. Although not all at the same time or we won't fit through the door ????. All the ladies working away in there are always so helpful & chipper. Definitely recommend.
The quality of the food is simply amazing. The combination of flavours in some of the sandwiches compares to the food in some luxury sandwich shops in the big cities. It can be perceived as a bit pricy for the area but given the quality and size of portions you really can't complain. Some people complained about the staff... I cannot relate to that, even though I go to the shop frequently. The ladies there have allways been kind, fast and polite with me. I highly recommend hunters chicken panini, nando style chicken in pitta and gourmet burger but you can't go wrong with any of it. Very good selection of cakes as well.
Went for breakfast takeaway, I saw they had Roja coffee which is my favourite! Very impressive, posh establishment when I entered, quite pricey food however I'm willing to pay a bit extra for quality, how wrong my first impressions were!
There were 2 customers including me but the lady serving was so flustered and quite animated about it, I got stressed just watching her!
I ordered a small sausage butty and a coffee. Instead of putting a cup under the coffee machine she made an instant coffee plonked it on front of me and said ' is nescafe OK', before I could reply she ran off into the kitchen. My sausage butty was given to me, again I couldn't ask about the coffee as she ran back into the kitchen!
To make matters worse the sausage wasn't cooked properly and was obviously cheap sausage, full of grissle and tasteless, the coffee was weak yet I paid the same price as the filter coffee!
To summerise, this place is over priced and the quality of food and service is very poor.
For half the price I paid I could have had a greggs breakfast butty and proper coffee, I advise everyone else to do the same, I will never knock greggs again!
Just had a beautiful Easter Sunday lunch delivered for myself. It was gorgeous, piping hot too. Turkey with stuffing and pig in blanket, yorkie pud, roasties and lovely veg. To top it off there was cranberry sauce and lovely Turkey gravy. Highly recommended. Thankyou
