The place gets 3 stars from me because it exists in area where it is difficult to find a restaurant.
The food is bar-type: deep fried frozen scampi/fish, pizza with strange layers, a fish soup that tastes like smoked fish minced in milk. The only food that tasted ok was lentil soup and the burger.
So if you do not have choice, come here, if you do… guess.
Lovely place to chill. Great local produce, lovely coffee and cakes. Bacon rolls are fabulous and the evening meals are super tasty too. Good selection of spirits, beer and wine. Enjoy????
Always good, consistent food and staff are always welcoming and friendly. We were in our work clothes but still made very welcome. We got take out but sat inside as it was very cold out, but staff were fine, and when we commented on how good the fresh baking smelt, we were offered a sample to try . I still don't know why we said no thanks must have been out of politeness. ????
On a cold January night, I ventured out from the hotel. Stumbled across this gem of a place. Wasn't busy on a Tuesday night ( 3 locals and me). Locals were friendly chatting to me, ordered an Estrella and cheeseburger and chips. Beer was almost instant, food was a usual wait, but was well worth it. Very favourable and filling.
Sky sports is a plus.
Owner was chatty and friendly.

Stumbled upon this great place, what an excellent find. Great burgers, really good service and all washed down with a pint.

Delicious food, especially the plum tart and side salads. Lovely people. So many choices for lunch on the menu and in the store for takeaway.
