Visited this fish and chip shop, while on Millport.
All staff were wearing masks, social distancing in place, chip shop was clean and tidy.... only downfall was, they did not take card payments... all payments are in CASH ONLY..
The fish and chips supper was only £6.10, which i thought was very much value for money... the portion size was large and it was a decent size piece of fish....
Would I visit again... 100% yes, would I recommend... again its a 100% yes...
A added bonus is there are seats just round the corner, with sea views, and right at bus stop for bus back to ferry.

Freshly made fish was superb. However chips were cold. Reasonable price also. Friendly staff singing away to a bit of classical music.
Some of the negative reviews seem to be expecting a full service restaurant. It's a traditional fish and chips shop, and the service was friendly enough. Chips were average, but the fish was good and freshly cooked to order. Good value for money, and managed to keep up with the high turnover on a busy Bank Holiday Monday.
Great chips! We were first to order at lunchtime on the sunny 7th May. Whilst waiting, we listened to opera music and looked at old black and white photographs of the street outside. All this added to the character of the place. The chips were great and the owner seemed happy in his work. We'll be back for full fish and chips next time.
This is a wee fish and chip shop down by the pier in Millport. Very friendly staff. Great choice of food all freshly made to order. Not too expensive, either. I'd recommend going if you're over on Millport
A lovely place with lovely owners. The food was amazing and the huge portions made us get more than our money's worth. I would definitely recommend going
The young guy serving at the till was very nice, helpful and friendly.
The older man singing Pavarotti was very cold, rude and ignorant. Food was very mediocre. Gravy was like tasteless gloom. Won't be back I'm afraid.
