The laziest cooked Chinese food that I've ever had. No effort made in the cooking or in the ingredients used. I can only surmise that as they have been in the village for so long they have become complacent and think that it's OK to serve up anything in a Chinese tasting sauce.
From the outside, being in a 70s built local shopping area, this looks a "bit rough" but you can't fault the food which is good quality and well priced. Downside is it's a cash only business, no plastic or contactless accepted so visit the cash machine before going there.
Just got food from here as years ago I loved this place and the staff are always so lovely but to my surprise it is the most flavourless takeaway I've had, every dish I had tasted of nothing and everything was very underseasoned. Chilli+salt chicken wings had no spice and were not seasoned. Duck was flavourless including the sauce. Shame to have to leave a bad review.
It's ok, prices not bad, chicken balls good, sweet and sour sauce really runny, chicken curry ok but it's definitely not Chinese curry, more like chip shop curry, biggest let down was chippy chips with Chinese food, that's a big no no in my eyes.
reall good local Chinese takeaway. food is always very tasty. They also do fish and chips which is good. parking slots available just outside the restaurant. staff could be a bit more friendly. never seen them smiling :-)
Food was very good. Always try meals I regularly have to compare quality when I first visit a new Chinese takeaway. I would recommend this one. Service was quick too.
