Lovely freshly baked produce, all allergens listed and in display by each product. A good range of Vegan, dairy free, gluten free products. Very reasonably priced and a great selection of sweet and savoury items. Highly recommend but if you want a good choice of products on a Saturday you need to get there in good time. They shut just after lunch and they sell out of popular items like sausage rolls and doughnuts!
I love this Bakery! You just can’t beat the smell of fresh bread being baked.
Not only do they do a variety of breads and cakes that serves all tastes, they also have a great customer services!
I love that they are family run and that they are traditional bakers using local products. The bread keeps for days. Great quality and value for money! I really can’t recommend them more highly!
Spent a wonderful morning here last Friday celebrating my Mum's birthday.
Food was fantastic, so fresh and tasty as it was baked on the premises.
Staff were very warm and friendly, and made a right fuss of Mum, even singing "Happy Birthday" to her and bring her some heart-shaped biscuits. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even when I knocked my plate on the floor, they insisted on clearing it up!
The take out food that I took home for my husband was just as lovely, and travelled well back to London. So lovely was my visit, I'm thinking of moving to Manningtree!
Such a shame to give two stars but last time we came here 3 out of our 6 jam doughnuts had no jam in them , & when I told the staff they didn't seem at all fazed about it . We would always visit there every time we visited Manningtree & would always spend between £5-£12 each time . Apart from that experience overall the bakery does a great choice & always fresh - I would of gave more stars if it wasn't for the bad experience!
Recently visited, a wonderful bakery with all the freshly made bake goods you would want plus suburb service and the food was delicious, especially the sausage rolls!
There also was so many cakes, nearly to many to choose from! :) not good for my 2020 diet hehe
Would highly recommend if you are passing through this wee town.
We was wandering the streets just for a walk in mistley and came across this bakery. I had the steak slice and cornflakes cake and my daughter had an Easter egg meringue. The steak slice was to be honest the best I have ever tasted and I have had a lot of stake slices. Next time we go for a walk in mistley I will return.
It is a delight when you visit De'aths Bakery, it is so welcoming. It is like walking into a treasure trove, shelves filled with the most delicious imaginative cakes, a feast for the eyes, all made by Tanya. The bread is without question the best you will find anywhere, made in the old traditional way by David. Certainly a marriage made in heaven. You could say I am a fan, yes you bet I am.
Very very good bakery, staff are pukka.
Went in here today after the bank for a few bits. What can i say the same great staff and products my go to bakery. The council are killing it with their stupid parking rules they have a thing for YELLOW. but hey we will beat them. PUKKA
