First visit! WOW! Extremely happy! Will come back very soon! Good prices, delicious food, generous portions. Beautiful decorated place, very clean and tidy. Thank you. Highly recommend!
Such an amazing range of food I had no idea they did so much as well as the beautiful sweets and the kunefe was perfect
Spiral Hill is a hub for middle eastern and north african food. Damascus has now taken over Mangla' space, upgraded the interior and offers foods along with its usual baklavas.
We had a taster ordering the chicken that comes with naan, yoghurt, tahini and humus. We also got Zataar, falafel and "egg"- I call that last one peinirli but have heard it being called other names elsewhere. The service was to the point, the atmosphere pleasant and clean beyond expectation. Oh, we ate with our hands, no surprise there.
SHEFFIELD’S HIDDEN GEM!
Wow! Wow! Wow!
I didn’t know what to choose so I opted for miniature versions of everything and the cream filled baklava as well.
This is is honestly the best baklava I have ever had in Sheffield.
They did not skimp on anything.
From the pastry to the nuts everything is quality.
No bakery in Sheffield compares.
They are truly on a league of their own.
Really nice place with an extensive biscuit and baklava range. The waitress that saw to us was also super nice and welcoming. My visit was mainly to try the Kunafa, which we thoroughly enjoyed and was very affordable. Definitely recommend a trip!
Fantastic Baklavas, purchased a few times now and never a disappointment ????
My review is based on the Dining In experience. Was tempted to give it a 5/5 but I had to retell my order twice, It's not a big issue and the menu should be updated to show the actual dishes more easily. 4.5/5 ????
Great price, great seating area, nice food and friendly staff. Would 100% revisit and recommend ????
Lovely wood fired thin base koftah pizza, with a Meat on Dough.. and amazing freshly made Kunafah. Great service and lovely food. Would definitely go back!
I came back again and found that they’ve expanded their premises into next door. They’ve also expanded their menu to include even more great dishes. We decided to have lunch/brekkie here and tried a couple of of the new items we hadn’t tried before. Food was fantastic and service second to none. The gentleman serving us was super helpful and excellently explained what each of the new dishes were. I’d highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone.
You should often go to this cosy, friendly place. They welcome you so much, they advise you what to have if you not sure. The place is clean every where, the service is excellent and food didn’t take so long, the food is delicious and tastes great. Your eyes will love the presentation of the food, you will enjoy every bite. Also the dessert is very tasty and highly recommended, not too sweet and lots of options. Finally the decoration is very nice culture and also Arabic songs gives relaxing and calming mind. I hope this family business the best. So proud of them.
