Had large bag of chips, chicken and a madras Curry sauce today and it was unbelievable. The Curry is my favourite that I've had very unique. and there is so much meat on the chicken.
The owner is one of the nicest people you could meet!
Had a delicious tea for the whole family, chips fish sausage and curry sauces were all fresh and stunning. The customer service is so friendly too. Will definitely go again ????????
Absolutely terrible. The chips are cold, hard and burnt. I been here 3 times now and every time I been disgusted with the quality of the chips. I definitely will not return again unless has new owners. Gravy nice tho
Sorry to say went on review of this chippy . Big mistake worse fish and chips I’ve had. Chips were very dark and looked like they had been cooked in very old oil. As for Fish . Batter very very dark, not crispy and fish was tasteless and past it’s sell by date. my wife had steak pie and chips. Not good at all. And at £13.80. Waste of money. We noticed the place is up for and the gentleman is retiring. Servicing that food it’s a good decision. We will definitely not be returning.
The fish cake was like a smelly old leather boot the chips over cooked and kept warm for a day or two very disappointed paying good money for it to go in the bin because it's not edible

Saw previous reviews and decided to try it myself. Ordered fish and chips x2 and was told it’ll take 3 minutes to prepare as it’s cooked fresh. Then i saw the yellow oily batter mix that came out and also noticed the dried up and cracked sausages and fish cakes on display which had very obviously been there quite some time. I called out to the server to cancel the order and left.
The whole place could go with a refurbishment and clean up.
Disappointing.
