We had a steak that unfortunately we couldn't even cut to eat as it was so rubbery. The chicken was very dry as well. Everyone else in the place seemed to be enjoying their food so I just assume we picked the wrong things on the menu. The coffee and pastel de nata were good though
They do nice Espetadas and grilled octopus!
Nice Portuguese restaurant. Great food. Convenient location, 5 mins walk to Stockwell tube station.
Very homelike feel. Large portions for what you pay and friendly service! Would definitely visit again
Lovely Portuguese food... my favourite is Picanha dish cheap fresh made, fresh made chips, lovely family environment on two 3 different sections...did not like basement space. The service is really nice very patient we where with children. The table next to use as well. Best hidden gem Portuguese restaurant... loving kind, friendly. Food is really good and the service... Excellent a true Portuguese moment ... We loved again, thank for the amazing service.
I had the bifana (a pork steak sandwich) and it was a very nice bifana.
Will return but need to be careful, as it is very close to home, but the prices on the hot meals are a bit higher (probably worth it judging by the quality of the bifana)
