Incredible sandwiches. Fresh rolls, lovely salads, great choices for fillings. Lovely staff, top service, great value ! What more can you ask for from a lovely little local bakery. My favourite lunch spot in the Village. Great stuff.
Long time since I was in Sherburn due to moving away. Chance call for a sandwich etc.
The sandwiches and pastry with a fresh brew of tea were absolutely spot on. Fresh bread cakes with juicy salad and ham. Staff were really friendly and happy to accommodate even though it was well past lunch time.
Highly recommend. Hope to call again sometime soon.
Great little bakery in the middle of Sherburn, reasonable prices and great service.
Always a warm and friendly welcome when visiting crusties.
All the staff are so kind and now that I have been a few times, they make every visit personal, by trying to remember our sandwich orders.
Would like to see more vegetarian options but as it is a small, original style bakery, it's understandable why they stick to the classics!
The food is always to a high standard and it's immaculately clean everytime I visit.
Portion sizes are often very generous too! Highly recommend for a breakfast or lunch break

Great place for some honest homemade chow
First visit here was a couple of days ago and was it very nice. Freshly made sandwiches (highly recommend the chicken tikka) and a lovely steak slice. Staff were all very friendly and prices very reasonable too.
Sadly had a bad experience at this sandwich shop. My sandwich contained a complete soggy hand towel. Was distressing. The manager apologised. I will not be buying anything further from this bakers.
