Saw some lovely cat and dog cakes on display however there was a sign stating that they would need to be ordered in advance. The lovely gentleman behind the counter offered to make two cupcakes for my kids whilst I looked around Lewes. Fabulous customer service and the cakes were delicious. Thank you!
Thank you for making an amazing vegan cake for my daughter’s 21st birthday. It was just like the picture I sent you. The whole process of ordering and collecting the cake was easy and the service and price were excellent.
My first experience with Crumbs was perfect. Safely on a second occasion I placed my order with plenty of time in advance and sadly I was left disappointed. On the day my cake was not ready, they seemed to not have the form with the details regarding decoration and the person I have discussed when placing the order was not there. When ordered the cake I did asked it to be with a theme so I was expecting the cake to be decorated accordingly but they just decided to buy a toy to match the theme and stick it on the cake. I admit the cake was delicious but the experience and the overall look were disappointing.
We went to Crumbs for our wedding cake(s). Not only great value, but they did an amazing job! We had a nature theme of a tree stump chocolate cake with our initials in a heart, with a moss gooseberry cake and finally a sky birthday cake. With only a few pictures and license to be creative, Crumbs did an amazing job and even delivered to our Lewes based reception! I would highly recommend, especially if you want something a bit different but still tastes great! Pictures to come (if i remember!)
Adrian at crumbs made our wedding cakes and they were absolutely gorgeous. Delicious and so beautifully presented. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
I first came across Crumbs when I needed a cake for my mother's 80th and was recommended this place by a friend. Being local I popped in to have a look and discovered what a fantastic little cafe this is. The proprietor Adrian was so helpful in helping me choose the right design and type of cake fitting for my mothers grand 80th celebration, and even delivered it my home on the day I needed it. Now I regularly pop in for a coffee and cake, and a friendly chat with Adrian. This really is a little gem stone on the high street of Lewes and a must for every cake lover out there - chocolate brownies are delicious ????!

I’m very disappointed with the service and the cake we’ve received.
They don’t answer the phone and the 4 times I walked by the shop, they were not open.
I want to support a local business, but they are very hard to get hold of.
I thought now that we finally got hold of them, the cake will be great as they are clearly busy enhance why I can’t get hold of them.
We asked for a Minecraft chocolate cake and provided pictures.
But he kept on suggesting doing an icing print instead the piping that I want, saying it’s extra work. At this point I was getting doubts and should have should have gone else where, but I gave him a benefit of a doubt.
Collection day…the cake wasn’t chocolate like we asked for - realising his mistake, he only offered us a tenner off the price.
And instead of a strong stand out green colour for the creeper face, it’s a pastel green - which is not what I wanted.
And it didn’t have Happy Birthday written on it which is what we asked for.
I’m just very disappointed with the service.
The cake tasted ok, but to be fair my own fail attempt tasted better. My son only had a bite and didn’t want anymore… so in all honesty I won’t use Crumbs again!
