Went in here on Father's Day for dinner as we had been let down by another restaurant. This was a party if 12 later on in the evening. They made us feel really welcome and accommodated us. Great service and atmosphere. Food was really good and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back to try other food on the menu.
Amazing and well worth a visit. Food was excellent, there was 5 of us eating tonight - scallops, haggis fritters, Cullen skink for starters then steak pie, fish, venison and chicken Balmoral for main. All staff are great, friendly and helpful. Will be back soon.

A Party of seven Adults two Children visited The Cross Keys, Alva today Sunday 19th of May 2019,
Couldn't praise Cross keys high enough all meals were excellent well prepared and brilliant preparation, staff were very friendly and attended to us without us having to ask.
Surroundings were as we expected well decorated and seating was very comfortable.
On our chat after the meals we all decided that we would have no hesitation on returning as we were entirely satisfied with The Cross Keys, Alva

Terrible service for the second time I've been there, bar staff are ignorant, more interested in talking to a friend over the bar and asked me to wait, after waiting far to long considering he was well aware I was there, I had to leeve, worst service ever. Walked down to the cairn hardly got to the bar and I was asked what I would like, and they had a busy place
