Awful garage and even worse customer service. They took on my van after knowing what the job at hand was, stripped it down and then couldn’t be bothered to finish the job and made up that they needed a ‘£500 tool’ to do so, that they didn’t have and didn’t intend to get. So it took them longer than anticipated to even take it apart and tell me they wouldn’t work on it. I had to pay for it to be towed on a 7tonne lorry then as they had taken it apart so it had no brakes or steering. I asked if it could be put back together so that the towing cost wouldn’t be so high (they quoted me £150 for a 30min drive to a garage I found in Llanelli) but they said no. I was stuck. The garage I had found that said they could do the job now did not want it at all because it wasn’t running, and they thought Cross Motors maybe had broken it/tampered with it and were trying to wash their hands of it. Luckily the bloke from EVS recovery came and rescued it from this garage and he had the part off and did a full assessment all in a few hours, no problem. I had to fork out for it to be towed but just wanted it off their courts as I knew how incapable they were at this point. I left the keys with them, as you do, and the first time the recovery guy came to see the van he was running late, told them this, they said they would ‘leave the key in a safe space’ so he could look at it. When he got there they hadn’t moved it into view and had locked up and gone home. God knows whether they actually left my keys out somewhere too. The blokes seemed decent to talk to initially and even though they couldn’t give me a quote for the work at first they said they’d get me a good price, hence me leaving it there. The woman who answers the phones was quite rude, uninterested, unbothered. Don’t normally leave bad reviews but my vans been stuck in Wales for about a month now because of this lot. Cheers!
Great service
Saw the advert on gumtree, had a look at their website for details, contacted them, two days later I test drove the car, same day put a deposit down to purchase, they serviced and put 12 months MOT on the car, 1 advisory for a tyre which was then replaced by them and then 3 days later I paid the rest and car was ready to be driven away
One small complaint, the stereo they put in for me (free of charge as the old one didn't work), isn't in its cage properly but not a huge task to do myself with a mate

Having used this garage for a few years. I had become disappointed with the service I got recently. But just over a week ago the engine management light came on in the car. I wasn't going to go back to Cross hands motors again. But I was desperate. So I phoned and went down to put the car on the computer. When I got there I was told that the garage was under new management. The computer showed a problem with the injector in chamber 2. I was told that the part was expensive. So I bought the part secondhand. I took the part down. They fitted it and put the car on the computer again. My car is now going better than it ever has done. Amazing. The new manager is very knowledgeable and is concerned that I am happy. I'm so glad the owner has bought in new management. I would be happy to take my car back for its service.
I'm pretty sure the few times my car has been looked at here it's come out with more problems than it had going in
Wonderful friendly service and reasonable cost. I had flat battery and was rescued in ten minutes and had battery checked. My rescue company would have charged £125 because it was 'my fault'. Staff absolutely lovely - many thanks, guys!
These guys may have some mixed reviews but they have gone above and beyond for myself. I was struggling to find a place to get an mot completed, and even though they were technically fully booked they managed to squeeze me in. On top of that the lift I had arranged to take me back broke down on the dual carriageway. Not only did they go out TWICE to find the person giving me a lift, they were able to repair her car too, and didn’t charge for coming to get them. The staff at the site are friendly and down to earth. They’re happy to explain things related to the car without judgment. My car felt so much better and quieter leaving their lot today. I will go nowhere else from now on! I cannot recommend these guys enough, they go above and beyond!
Part exchanged a vehicle with these guys, and i couldn't recommend them enough, really helpful with the paperwork tax etc, very honest and welcoming attitude and they gave us a fair price trading our old vehicle in as well considering it saved us a load of hassle selling it ourselves. All in all a very painless experience, much appreciated. Cheers ????
Don't bother... Messed my about, had a appointment with them 2 weeks in advance. Even rang again a few days before to double check. Then turned up and they couldn't do it... And inside I see the lads setting fire to parts of customers cars to try and separate parts.. Not for me thanks..
